We are lectured that in order to have "security" we must give up a little freedom. That is a bold faced lie. Our security is the main purpose of our government, which was established with guarantees of our liberty (Bill of Rights). There has been a tendency, since 9/11, for government to encroach on our liberty for the sake of security. In all reality, our security has not increased, but our freedoms have been subjected to laws which are unconstitutional. The government (Deep State) frequently breaks laws for the purpose of civilian surveillance, all with the pretext of "national security", while those patriots who seek to defend and protect our freedom are labeled as subversive, radicals, etc. The government feels that their job is to surveil and control the citizens. The Founding Fathers acknowledged that it is the duty of citizens to monitor the government. It is rightly said that if you give up freedom for security, you will gain neither. History has shown that people that give up their freedom seldom gain it back.

Great article. At one point I decided Great Britain was a
pretty good crystal ball for forecasting America's future,
the surveillance camera thing started there and took off
way before it did here. Then in time, we followed right
down the same path.
If you sit down and take a good long hard look at the
changes that have taken place in this country in a span
of only 25 years since 9/11, and really perform a scrup-
ulous and diligent accounting, the trend and where it's
all headed is unmistakable.
The problem is the perennial 3-ring circus of diversions,
distractions and disruptions which prevents the average
citizen from ever seeing the iron fist in front of his or her
face... you've only got a slim percentage that puts in the
kind of work that it takes to to get there from here, and
who is actually executing anything like critical thinking.
On X, the hate-fueled rage-baiting convention, every-
thing you see, read and hear is nothing but: Trump,
Trump, Trump, Trump, EPSTEIN FILES! Trump, Trump,
Trump, Trump, EPSTEIN FILES! (the smokescreen). And
most of the time if you try and talk about anything
else, nobody really pays you much attention. You're not
really seeing anything about the data centers, etc. on
their anymore... all those posters have either been ban-
ned or shadow banned. Ask me how I know.

Exactly. All this seems to be steadily accelerating,
while the average citizen doesn't seem too con-
cerned, if they're paying attention at all. "Elysium"
is where this is all headed. A utopia for the billion-
aire class, running parallel with a global ghetto
for the masses, with robots, AI and computers
running everything at the macro level. No bor-
ders, just one big global slave plantation.
Correct, but only the few useful idiots necessary to serve their needs.
